Discuss about the Preparation Of A Learning Contract And A Networking Task.
In this contract portfolio, I discuss how I will learn more about public speaking skills and technical skills like Zero, excel in the workplace environment in part A, designing a networking task in part B and then discussing the issues I faced while completing this contract. This will involve the help of a supervisor and referrals to help me learn and gather the relevant information for the successful completion of the contract
This assessment task will consider two types of communication methods which is public speaking skill and technical skills that I need to learn in a workplace environment.

To understand the behaviors of people around a workplace that will include testing their behaviors and behavioral changes between different tasks they perform. To understand how public speaking affect their work rates in a workplace or how different people who address publically are affected. To understand how employees respond to different tasks that they perform in the workplace, this will include in relation to different stages of working hours (early, mid, and evening periods) of working hours |
Through Observation and communication with different workers at the workplace during breaks, program time and after working hours, Consultation of some reference people such as staffs and any other person in the workplace who can avail the information needed to learn and reflecting on daily exercises or tasks conducted through daily logs (Dannetta 2002, p.144). |

There may also be a need to review any relevant and related literature that may be available to enable me to learn from, investing enough time to enable me to get knowledge on a specific area of concentration, making recordings that will help in bettering my learning process and that can be used as related study |

To understand how different people at workplace manage themselves while performing tasks at workplace, conduct themselves while being addressed publically by different people and when using different technical skills in the workplace. To learn and understand how to speak publically while at workplace, how to conduct self while speaking to a live audience and how my speech may affect the audience. |

Action before the networking function
I will attend a professional associations meeting at the Woollomoloo City because this will avail me an opportunity to make me known of my services to the professionals and this will widen the market. The main aim of this network is to get different opportunities amongst the professors and this benefit me by making known of my services to people who will be available at that meeting. Professors will attend the meeting from different associations and other business personnel (Howlett, R.G., 1977, p.547). The network meeting will help me to make public the services that I offer and provide market for those services. The meeting will also enable me acquire new marketing strategies from different professors and other business ideas. Orally, I aim to promote my organization by participating in public speaking platforms to let people know about us, services that we offer e.g. public, media and others, then written ways to promote my organization will be printing brochures or fliers, billboards about the organization. Finally, by setting organizational goals that are specific, measureable, achievable, and realistic and then it should be time bond. The strategies I will use to assist others to develop trust me is by providing quality services and availing feedback procedures for them to get back to us and for follow-up actions to be taken.
The networking strategy I used was getting to know different people and sharing with them about what we do, the services we offer and encouraging them to like what we do. For us to develop trust and confidence from them, we shared with them about us and our plans in the long run, which they loved and it worked. The positive networking strategies I observed was to use every opportunity that is available to come up with new ideas for invention and development. What could have been improved is our perspective of our association and how we can turn into a global marketing strategy. I told the members in the network about the organization and the services that we offer and what plan to be in time to come.

How I intend to learn
Ways to follow up and maintain contacts made
- Providing a platform that allow them express their views towards our services.
- Maintain a constant communications with them through contact details
- Create shows and occasions to invite them to attend regularly to build your name
- Make follow-ups on different media that can be assessed because by doing this, you a creating a popular name for your organization.
- Also use personalized follow-up to contact people individually and create friendship.
The knowledge and skills I shared in the meeting was the experience in the market and how to enter into the new market, our bigger perspective of dominating the market and widening our global market. This knowledge will benefit us by encouraging other people to partner with us and also promote our popularity in the market and outside
The information about Kaplan Business School was not much but it is a known business school that can help promote and come up with new business ideologies in the business world.
I gained the confidence in the business world and how to achieve a global marketing strategy for goods and services. Yes other students from my class benefited, and this information can be passed to others through sharing and organizing bazaars and trade shows (Ostendorf and Permpoonwiwat 2017, p.85).
Our popularity will be make our organization to be regarded as the best amongst others in the competitive markets. The follow-ups will build for us a name that people can trust and confidence in us. A platform that allows them to share their views with us will help us to offer the best services (Crawford 2011).
It consumes time; contract completion consumes a lot of time since it involves preparing a network strategy and assessing it to come up with the best strategy that can be used in contract learning.
Restricts creativity; a learning contract and portfolio restricts creativity because it deals with the reality of the workplace or the market place and deals with real people. This provides no or limited room for creativity and this an issue in completing this contract (Bamidis et al. 2017).
Difficult to establish criteria; criteria was also an issue the completion of this contract because I had to through it again and again to start doing it
