The project owner wants to develop a kindergarten for the grown up student to sharpen their skills to grab the studies through the curriculum of playing activities. It helps in providing education to the poor student.
The project is developed for doing charity to the poor and street living people to get the high level of education to overcome their level of poverty in the near future. It also focuses on the educational activities which should be included for guiding the student for establishing their bright future.
In this project, we are going to construct the school with the facilitation of services like inclusion of electrical equipment, medical services, installation of the fire fighting system within the school campus, and installation of the solar plant for generating electricity for the school compound. The flexibility should be approved for the inclusion of changes required in the designing process by the project owner and the project sponsors.
The project is going to focus on giving education to the poor children, providing employment to the local people of the community, providing education by arranging the curriculum of playing activities to generate interest of studies in the street living children, large playground, use of solar energy to maintain the ecological balance, and maintaining the supply and demand of the resources on site location to develop the project on time.
The project sponsor plays an important role in managing the funding of the resources in completing the project. K.N. Williams has taken the responsibility of managing funds for the development program of undertaken project.
The project phases which are involved in the development of the little flower kindergarten are categorised as planning phase foe generating the requirement specification plan, development of the conceptual and schematic design of the project for taking confirmation on the project output from the project owner and sponsor, Determination of the engineering drawings, Construction, and operation and maintenance program. It opens the new opportunity for the determination of the planning process objectives. The flexibility should be approved for the inclusion of changes required in the designing process by the project owner and the project sponsors .
Project Background
The activities which are associated with the completion of the project are approval of the requirement specification plan from the project owner, designing of the construction program, selection of the team members on the basis of skills and expertise, setting of roles and responsibilities of the team member, details of the resources used, procurement plan, risk Identification and management plan, development of the work breakdown structure for setting out the project activity schedule, cost estimation plan, engineering drawing, and sign off (Dunn, 2014).

The guidelines should be followed for the successful completion of developing the little flower kindergarten for the poor student. The following table shows the identified risks and correspondent solution:
Risk Identification |
Risk Management |
Ethical risk |
The ACS code of ethics should be followed for the construction of the project. The ethical issues can create the problem in the management of the coordination among different activities of the team members. |
Social Risks |
The migration of the residential people to the safer place during the construction of the project |
Political risks |
Issues from the government should be resolved before the development program of the project |
Financial risk |
The sponsorship plan should be approved by the correspondent sponsors |
Risk associated with third party |
The proactive plan should be ready for handling the grievance of the third party |
Resource management risk |
The agreement should be signed with the contractor and the supplier to manage the supply of the resources before arising their demand from the construction engineer so that flow of activities should remain positive |
Conflicts in the team member |
Flow of communication should be managed between the team members to overcome the problem of distraction among them. |
The development of the undertaken project is comprised of the waterfall model for completing the life cycle of the project. The waterfall model is comprised of five stages which are named as project requirement specification phase, designing phase, implementation phase, verification phase, and maintenance phase. The waterfall model opted for the construction of the little flower kindergarten is shown in the following figure:
Process |
Description |
Project initiation |
This process focuses on collecting the requirement details from the project owner and sponsor to develop the requirement specification plan for the construction of the design (Iknno, 2011). In the project charter we are going to provide the information related to the project scope, objective, schedule of activities, resources used, risks associated with the project, stakeholders, communication plan, and others. |
Project planning |
This phase focuses on the development of resource management plan, risk management pan, procurement specification plan, communication plan, cost estimation plan, and acceptance plan (Turbit, 2006). It also focuses on the educational activities which should be included for guiding the student for establishing their bright future (Burdick, 2012). |
Project execution |
Focuses on testing the project deliverables to generate the difference in the actual and the planned cost estimation schedule, and the risk assessment and the management plan. The project comes under the execution phase after the completion of construction process for developing the building for performing the school activities (Duffy, 2012). The operational activity should be scheduled for testing the level of educational tactics used for studies. |
Project closure |
The closure report of the project focuses on the documentation of the project undertaking to get the review from the owners and sponsor for improvement |
Project monitoring |
The monitoring of the system helps in measuring the area of concern which requires the maintenance program Kjolehede, E. (2000) |
The following diagram shows the flow of activities between the team members for the delivery of the report to complete the project on time. The follow up of the project control path helps in measuring the critical path of the project which should be set to priority for achieving the completion of the project on time. The flow of activities described in the diagram shows the specification retrieved from the main consultant to manage the supply and demand of resources to the construction site to facilitate architect and construction manager for executing their tasks. The furniture and other equipment should be supplied after the development of the school building.
I approved the process undertaken for completing the project within the expected date of the project.
