Project Planning and Scheduling
In order to complete any project successfully, the detailed planning at the beginning level is very important. This is the project management plan for developing a web application system for the social media research centre. The details regarding the project milestone, schedule and the different types of resources required for the project have been analyzed in this paper. The complete project has been divided into smaller modules, which have been shown in the indented work break down structure in this report. Then complete schedule of the project with the start date, end data duration and cost required for each of the activities are given in details in the schedule. The graphical representation of the project management plan has been given in the gantt chart.

Assumptions: The complete project of the development of the web application system for the social media research centre, it has been assumed that the project would be completed within the time period of 8 months. However, the project schedule developed for the project management is indicating that the project would be completed within near about 5 months. This time is a assumptions. There are many possibilities of failure of maintenance of the mentioned time limit in the schedule.
Constraints: The constraints of the project are the scope of the project, the schedule and the budget. The project must be able to meet the required objectives of the scope. The schedule of the activities must be maintained i.e., the synchronized way of performing the activities. Another major constraints of the project is the budget. The maximum budget allocated for the project is AUD 50,000. The project schedule is showing that the project would be completed within AUD 49,800. This have to properly maintained by the project manager.

The project manager is the responsible person for maintaining the quality of the project. The quality of the project is defined over the three characteristics written in the section below:
Flexibility: The system should be flexible enough for being handled by the employees of the social media research centre. The Project manager should ensure this while designing the application system.
Performance: All the operations should be efficiently performed by the system. This should be kept in the mind of the project manager and the team members of the project development team. Proper requirement analysis is must for ensuring this.
Security: The system must be secure enough to maintain the confidentiality of the information of the social media research centre.
