Project Objectives
Current Project is all about the preparation of a project plan for the recovery of the office from the flood disaster which has destroyed the existing place of business and spoil its current business and its assets. The flood has occurred to the overflow of the high river which captured this business as this is located on a ground level. This premise has 50 employees working on a single location are all affected simultaneously. This office has four private offices which are the subsidiaries of the current location located on a different location will act as a project sponsor to rescue the victims of this disaster. The office work can be resumed by shifting the employees of this premise to all other locations to maintain the current level of work. Confidentiality of the data has remain private as the overall data of the business are stored on the cloud using the cloud computing where all the information of the business can be accessed only by the authorised persons by applying the login credentials to maintain the dignity of an entity and so is the worth of all the stored information.
This entity has approached external IT service providers to take care about the information technology needs of the firm will helpful in overcoming from this disaster where the flood and storage of water in the office premises does not affect the businesses as their IT assets. Various project sponsors who can help all the victims of this disaster are the local rescuers, office premises owners of four private offices of this entity, clients and third parties of the business who are associated with an entity for dealing all the business services.
In the current stage the starting and end of the overall project has discussed by a project manager to notify its end users about the overall status of the project to get the consent of all the project sponsors and the project executives to proceed with the entire project. The motive of this project is to rescue victims of the project who are suffered from the flood disaster (Aerts and et.al., 2018). The time is allocated to al the project activities to achieve all the targets within a given span of time as the project manager emphasis more on the accomplishment of all the activities of a project to present the final output in front of its users before the stipulated deadline. The budget of the overall project is divided among all the activities to save the financial resources to be applied on other important projects.

Various services offered to the business premises from the government and non-governmental organization such as food, shelter to survive in the situation of the flood where all the resources gets abandoned as the resources is to imported from other areas to take acre about the needs of all the residents of the city who are depriving of food (Kerzner, 2018). Medical needs of all the victims are to be met by organizing relief medical camp on the affected location to improve the health by offering emergency medical care services. The Office premises is to be re-constructed again by considering all the safety measures on a first floor to avoid this problem as natural disasters can occur again as this is total uncertainty which is not in someone’s hands.
Project scope plays a significant role for a project manager as this helps in guiding a project manager to move in a right direction by fulfilling all its project activities within a stipulated time period as their aim is to satisfy its end users (Pheng, 2018). Project management is a wide concept under which all the project activities are achieved by allocating the overall time duration among all the activities to complete the same on time. The scope of work is to be mentioned in the statement of work which guides all the internal as well as the external users with the help of this statement.
Project scope is compared with the compass of a ship which guides a project manager to reach the final destination by following a particular path. A project scope has various categories such as goals, deliverables, tasks, costs and the project deadlines which guide a project manager to achieve its desired destination within a given span of time. There are various categories of the project scope statement are mention as below:

By meeting deadline before the time, an entity will satisfy their user which also increases its image in front of the client which will turn increases the future revenue as the client will refer other towards this firm who offers different kinds of services to all the users located in the external market (Cho & Gibson Jr, 2001). The project goal of the current project is to safeguard the lives of all the individuals who are actual victims of this incident of flood occur to the heavy flooding in the river which has affected the office premises exists on the ground floor.
Project Scope
Deliverables- Every client is more interested in knowing the end outcomes generated from a particular project as the deliverables rough report is to be submitted by a project manager to the client to satisfy its end and also to convene this project. The deliverables of this project includes saving the lives if all the victims of this incident, re-constructing the office premises by offering economical help to this entity in establishing its business from new angle, giving outsourcing services of supplying foods, medical supplies and most importantly temporary shelter to all the victims whose house gets demolished due to the flooding of the river.

Submitting the quality oriented services to its end client before the time will help an individual in creating tasks according to the nature of the current project. A disaster management technique is to be used by a manager of this project to implement the desired solution by following all the regulations to avoid the similar situation in the future. The market competition is affecting the entire business entity as by completing the task before the time will help an entity to get a sustainable competitive advantage in the external market (Mirza, Pourzolfaghar & Shahnazari, 2013). Costs play an integral role in every project so as in the current project as without the financial resources, an entity cannot proceed with the further work as their aim is to invest in various activities of a project. All the costs required to identify for this particular project includes two kinds of costs such as fixed as well as the variable costs which is of varied nature. A fixed cost remains the same as it is constant with the level of production as with the changes in the quantity it does not get affected. Variable costs are opposite of the fixed cost which gets affected by the changes takes places in the needs and the expectations of the various users in the external market.
Deadline- In the world of competition, a deadline is one of the competition creation attributes which is affecting all the businesses in the external environment. The client has full power to negotiate from one business to another whoever meets the needs of the client in a lesser time period as delaying submitting the projects will affect the overall market share and the entire revenues generated by an entity in the external market. Time is a very important factor which helps in creating positive or negative changes in the business share held by all the market rivals in the external market (Alchian & Demsetz, 2012). An entity needs to strive hard to meet the higher expectations and the higher needs of all the buyers who want to buy the potential of all the employees of the project management firm who manages the project given by the client. Quality of the services is another factor which diverts the interest of a client from one firm to another as they highly believe in getting the quality of work to maintain the dignity of its own image in front of their customers. Project manager aims in building a long-term relationship with the clients and not working just on a single project due to which they highly focus on meeting the needs of the client on a higher priority without dissatisfying them at any point of time. Deadline is very important for the business as this will lead to the overall project success or the failure due to the delaying of the accomplishment of all the project activities.
Project Goals
High level requirements created by the project manager helps all the project users who are associated with the project whether directly or indirectly can take all the benefits out of the given project. Some of the high level requirements of the current project are mention as below:
- Rescuing victims of the disaster to a new place without affecting their previous life as all the necessities are given to all the victims (Heldman, 2018).
- Business services are outsourced to the external outsourcing agencies to continue the services of an entity without getting affected due to the current incident.
- System of cloud computing gets more protective by adding cryptography system in accessing the information stored in the internet clouds to ensure the quality of all the overall information.
Deliverables
- Saving the lives of all the employees who are the victims of this incident of floods
- Safeguarding the assets of equipped in the office premises such as work stations, kitchen accessories, computers systems and other essential resources of an entity.
- Transferring the business data and services to the various private offices till the construction of new office.
- Building new office premises and creating new compensating structure for all the employees who get suffered from this flood.
Milestones
- Budget is the biggest milestone comes in the path of this project as the new construction of the office requires enough financial resources (Carnall, 2018).
- Changes in the technology will pose a biggest threat for this entity that is fully dependent on the external agency for meeting its information technology services.
Various parties are getting affected with the incident of disaster of flood spoils the existing lives of all the peoples who are connected with an entity directly or indirectly (Shtub & Rosenwein, 2018). List of all the affected parties of this project are given as below:
- Employees
- Owner of an entity
- Family of the employees
- Clients of this entity
- Third party having some share in the firm
The overall process of the business will get affected as the loopholes in the business process will results in the overall failure of the project which needs to be revised before the stipulated time period. Various risks come in the bigger picture in this project is mention as below:
- Financial risk occurred in this project as the re-construction of the whole premises requires enough cash which needs to be overcome (Amoako-Gyampah, Meredith & Loyd, 2018).
- Risk of natural disaster cannot be eliminated but a safety measure is to be equipped by an entity to avoid this problem.
- Basic services such as electricity, water and sanitary services provided by the local users of the city are excluded from the scope of this project as these are the basic services offers by the government of the place (Clark, 2018).
- Creating new clients for the business are excluded from this project scope as this is not the interest of all the users of the current project (Larsson, Eriksson & Pesämaa, 2018).
- A change in the IT sector does not affect the current project as the motive of the Owner Is To Overcome All The Problems Of a Project User.
A project plan created by an entity is to be executed by the project manager by creating various criteria’s to judge the overall performance of the business. The motive of an entity is to accomplished all the aims and targets of the particular project to meet the targets of the project’s end client (Wood, LeRouge, Tulu & Tan, 2018). The implementation plan will starts from the preparation of all the project’s objectives that helps in collecting the reliable information suitable for the current project.
The standards and the policy requirements created b a project manager to execute the same in the external environment. A skill of all the human resources is to be compared with the standard requirements of all the current personnel to get rid of all the weaknesses properly (Noguera, Guerrero-Roldán & Masó, 2018).
