Part One: Project Overview
The purpose of this document is to outline the project structure of Globex Corporation, the company that has provided the contract of its project to virtucon. An online mobile application will be developed in the project named i-Crop that will provide a platform for easier management of the grains that are warehoused. An easy to use application will help in easy access to the domestic opportunities anytime and anywhere. The following four sections provide a detailed overview of the aims, objectives and the structure of the project.

The project aims in development of a new cash marketplace platform which is known as i-crop. Virtucon has taken the contract of development of i-Crop application in house. The aim of this application is to bring the growers and the buyers in a single platform enabling them to have an easy access to the domestic as well as the export opportunities. The application will incorporate a number of features including the presence of an easy interface and a recovery facility for an unplanned outage. The objectives of the project are outlined in the following section.
The main objective of the project is to develop a user friendly application that will help in easier dealing with the warehoused grains. The objectives of the application or the project are as follows-
- The sales of the current session will be supported by the i-Crop application
- With this application, it will be easier to manage and sell the warehoused grains
- The application can be accessed by any web browser or by the dedicated app
- The application will provide information for the grain silo site
- It will bring the buyers and the sellers in a single platform

While working on this project, I have understood the importance of possessing an efficient leadership skill as it helps in management of the project in an efficient manner. I have understood the importance of effective communication in management of the project. The necessary skills that a project manager should possess for effective management of the project includes leadership skills, negotiation skills and skills for engaging in effective communication process. Furthermore, he should be an efficient manager and an effective planner.
Conclusion
The document gives an idea of the project structure along with the objectives of the project. The stakeholders associated with the project are identified in the document and a communication plan is developed. A project plan is needed to be prepared for effective management of the resources and the deliverables of the project. The meeting briefings are incorporated in the document as well.
