The case study discusses the fact that the CEO of the company had been changed in the recent times due to the premature demise of the previous CEO. The newly appointed CEO has been observed to face hostility from the various members who have been present in the board of directors of the company. The other issues that are faced by the company are the breach of the trust and secrecy within the concerned company (Brennan, Merkl-Davies and Beelitz 2013). The CEO has been observant of the various figures that have been leaked to the press and has identified the fact that the leaked figures were confidential figures and thus might have been leaked by any member of the company who is known to have access to the concerned data.

The other issues that have been faced by the concerned company in discussion were related to the discrepancies that existed within the members of the concern as well as the apprehensive nature of the staff of the organization due to the sudden change in the management of the organization. The present CEO might be advised to organize press meets in order to deal with the negative press activity that has been circulated within the media. The press meets might help the concerned company to manage the negativity that has circulated within the news media and thus portray a cleaner image of themselves for the various stakeholders of the company as well as the lower level employees of the company. The concerned present CEO of Mestle might further be advised to implement the various theories that pertain to the increase in the employee engagement within the company. The implementation of these theories might help in the matters that pertain to providing assistance to the newly appointed CEO in the various matters pertaining to the overall activities that have been undertaken by the company.
