Managing Organizational Health
To master the knowledge and the skills about business, entrepreneurship and its various aspects, it is important to know about the organization, its structure and the other features such as various kinds of management. In this way, an individual can not only have a good grip about the learning but also can have an effective process in business or their entrepreneurship.
However, after the learning, it is necessary to have a self-reflection to look back and understand certain strengths or weaknesses which shall create an opportunity or an obstacle to achieve the desired success for the business process.
In the following sections a reflective essay will be presented which will include a reflection about the strengths and weaknesses that I have discovered while learning the modules and conducting the group work. A personal development plan will be presented in the following which will help for the development that shall help in future scopes as well. While pursuing this module there are some of the factors that I have discovered will be included in the following sections.
For management and business studies the first and foremost things are to learn about the business and its various aspects which help in practicing the same for the real world organizations. In the first module about Managing Organizational Health, I was able to gather knowledge about performance management and its various aspects that can be helpful for the organization to hold an effective workplace and to achieve the desired goals and objectives.
From the module I was able to learn about the evaluation of various kinds of factors that are having an impact on the health of a particular organization while considering all the internal and external measurements. After the completion of the module it was able to learn about the analysis of how the health of the organization can affect the ability of the organization to have a successful operation (Farmanova, Bonneville and Bouchard, 2018). At the end of the module we were separated into groups to perform the measurements into decision making, problems solving on various kinds of scenarios. These kinds of activities help us to discover our strengths and weaknesses which will be mentioned in the following sections.
In the next module, I was able to gather knowledge about the various aspects of business and entrepreneurship along with the emerging trends which are potential enough to bring positive or negative changes. In this module we learn about the nature of entrepreneurship and the differences from the other businesses. Along with socialism, the business environment and its effect in the business has been observed. As for the application of the learning, I participated in various kinds of group activities which have been beneficial to gather deep knowledge about the several factors of business and entrepreneurship (Fairlie and Fossen, 2018). Various kinds of activities such as auditing, marketing planning, promotions, understanding the supply chains, learning about the mediators, investing stocks were practiced during the practices which helps in problem solving, decision making and brainstorming for the future scopes. In the next sections I will be discussing the strengths and weaknesses that I have discovered during the group activities and the learning sessions.
Business and Entrepreneurship Learning
While pursuing the learning modules about organizational health management and various aspects of business or entrepreneurship, we were engaged in every sort of activity that helped us find out the strengths that can become an opportunity for the future. On the other hand through the assessments and evaluation of our performances we were able to find out the weaknesses that are needed to be improved for better personal development.
There are several skills such as leadership, problem solving, decision making, influencing and management skills that I have observed while pursuing the course module. Through the group activities I was able to perform the roles of a manager or a leader which helped me in understanding my areas of strengths and weaknesses. Apart from that I was also able to pick up new kinds of habits which offered me huge benefits in my studying and gathering knowledge.
As for my strengths, I have potential for brainstorming and come up with better creative ideas that shall help in creating a new scope for anything. While undertaking the organizational health and safety management process I was able to take part in making of the organizational policies by putting some of the innovative ideas in it. I also have the capabilities to learn quickly and adapt to new things. During the course module I was good enough to learn the topics very quickly and apply them correctly. For example: in the business and entrepreneurship module I learned quickly about the aspects such as socialism, politics or the ways for the promotion and marketing which helped me in the brainstorming as well as helping with the problem solving for the respective matters.
However, for my weaknesses I somehow was not able to contribute my best into the activities. Through the personal assessment and evaluation I was able to find out the weaknesses about me (Knights, 2018). Factors like lack of communication, poor decision making skills, improper self confidence and lack of leadership skills affected my performances a lot.
According to Radovic and Salamzadeh, 2018, communication is the key to all the success for the aspiring managers. It helps in achieving all the milestones of the businesses, interpreting new ideas and also establishing an effective and efficient organization for the desired success. My weaknesses such as poor decision making skills, improper self confidence and poor leadership skills are all connected to communication skills. Also, Voges et al 2022 has mentioned that for the decision making process, it is very necessary to have a good and properly established communication which shall help in the process of the collaborative performances (Martin et al., 2019). The decision making process offers a huge scope for the leadership and effective team work. Due to the lack of communication skills, I was not able to make proper contribution in the decision making process or take part in the decision making. During the business and entrepreneurship practices, I observed the importance of decision making and communication for teamwork and decision making regarding the marketing strategies, promotional purposes. Also for teamwork and collaboration, self confidence and leadership skills are very much necessary.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Apart from all these strengths and weaknesses, I picked up the habit of being organized by learning and observing the peers for their organizational skills (Agranovich et al., 2019). Proper organization skills and techniques helps the students as well as managers are highly benefited by the help of the organizational skills such as helping them in achieving the desired goals, setting the objectives for the futures scopes, reducing the workload and stress, having a good time management and lastly having the ability to prioritizing the stuff for the activities (Hamida, 2021). So I can say the organizational skills helped me in having deep learning which ultimately helped in the activities and learning modules.
After reflecting on the strengths and the weaknesses which I have observed during the module learning, I have identified the key areas that need to be developed in me for the better outcome of my performances. These key areas are the weaknesses such as:
- Lack of leadership skills
- Lack Of communication skills
- Poor self confidence
- Lack of decision making skills
These can only be mitigated with the help of a personal development plan which helps in figuring out the right kind action that is necessary for the development. The personal development plan will be based upon the SMART goals which will include specific factors such as my weaknesses, the measurable which will comprise the actions, attainability of the factors, resources that will help in the better outcome and lastly the time period which will be allotted to complete the personal development process (Duca, 2021).

A personal development plan is a kind of action plan that helps with the identification of the individual goals and what a person desires to achieve (Rimmer, 2018). The personal development plan or PDP mainly includes all kinds of the strengths and weaknesses of an individual. A person can outline all the weaknesses and the areas that are needed to be improved in a PDP or personal development plan and act according to the action plan in order to achieve the desired success (Grit, 2019).
By the help of this PDP or personal development plan, I will be able to create the right kind of action plan that will be beneficial for me to work on my weaknesses and develop myself for better future scopes.

The above personal development plan will be helpful for me to have a proper development about the weaknesses. This action plan helps in achieving the desired success and the goals. As it has been previously discussed, communication is the main key for all kinds of activities in an organization. After working on my communicating skills, I will be able to contribute to the team work and the collaboration. For the establishment of a business, to manage a workplace or to work for the business operations it is important to conduct decision making in order to have a proper problem solving and an effective leadership process.
As for the leadership skills, the case lets and thorough learning about various kinds of leadership skills will be helpful to find out my own leadership style. By the help of the action plan I will also be able to gather the skills for the leading teams or people, influencing them by understanding their feelings and empathy (Rubens et al., 2018). A business organization always needs a proper leader to lead a group of people, to manage various kinds of activities or to conduct activities which can push the organization toward success. So this action plan will help me in managing workplaces, leading people and conducting various kinds of operations with capabilities and potentiality.
Conclusion
After the entire discussion about the reflective approach to my learning and my personal development, I can conclude that for the business organizations and its operations, it is really important to have a proper personal development which helps with achieving the personal goals and desired success. After the completion of the module I got the opportunity to learn about the various aspects of organizational health management and the business as well as entrepreneurship. Along with that I was able to do a close assessment about my personality and found my strengths and weaknesses. The personal development plan will be helpful for the development of the weaknesses which will help me in future to achieve the success and become a greater part of an organization contributing everything by the creative thinking and capabilities of tackling situations.
