Lab write up expectations: In you lab write up include that following parts. Include that that goes with each part. Read the entire laboratory and answer all questions. I. Introduction: Describe the content and goals of the lab. Does the lab have a specific hypothesis? What is it?(10 pts) II. Procedure: Summarize what you did in lab. Summarize the steps of the lab. (10 pts) III. Data and initial analysis of data: Present in data in raw form. Show how this data was used to get the experimental value(s) that we were looking for. Write down the equations that you use in variable form. Write the equation again, showing the numbers in the equations used to get the experimental value. Give experimental values with correct units. Answer all questions, in the lab write up, fully. Include the question that you are answering. (40 pts) IV. Comparison of Experimentally derived values with values expected using equations. Show how expected values were derived. Find experimental percent difference. Estimate all the contributions to uncertainty that you can. Make a total uncertainty estimate from these uncertainty values. Show the numbers in the equations that you used to get the uncertainties. Compare the two values: the experimental difference and the expected uncertainty. Discuss the two numbers; was the experimental value within predicted uncertainty (or two times the uncertainty)? (30 pts) V. Conclusion: What did you learn? How did you achieve the goals of the experiment. How did you data support or not support the hypothesis?(10 pts) Please use complete sentences. Present all data, including signed data sheets. Show how you set the equations to computes expected value, experimental value, experimental error, error budget, and expected experimental error. Many points are taken off for just writing numbers with no explanations.
