SWOT Analysis, SMART Goals, Belbin Team Roles, Disc Assessment, and VAK Learning Style
The aim of the paper is identified and emphasize on the academic skills which will be used for personal learning and professional learning. In the discussion section of the paper, it will include three different sections. In the first section it will state the self-reflection on personal development on learning and treasurable skills. It will be analysed with the help of management tool such as SWOT analysis, SMART goals, Belbine team roles, Disc assessment and VAK learning style, the skills developed during personal and academic life. The second section will highlight the personal development learning log and in the last section action plan will be designed based on skills that I can learn.
SWOT Analysis:
The major factor of strength that can be analysed from personal and self-reflection development is the skill is the skill of business management and leadership skills (Phadermrod, Crowder and Wills 2019). This is because these skills are utilized together when an individual is operating within an organisation. However, the factor of weakness within me is the skill of negotiation as it often confuses me while taking decision and secure to safe value for the organisation at the bargaining table. The next factor of opportunity on personal learning can be identified within data analysis skills and the skill of motivation one another. The motivational skills will not only help the individual in achieving success in academic period but will eventually assist in professional workplace as well (Herman 2017). Lastly, the factor threat within me is tha lack of ability to solve problems. This is the area I feel lateral thinking and resilience does not work together for me.
VAK Learning Style:
The visual-auditory-kinesthetic is a learning style that attains the model and inventory which is usual to VAK and offers a simple way to understand and explain their own understanding of learning (Chetty et al, 2019). With the assistances of visual factor, it assists to involve the use of observing pictures, displays, handouts and other forms of demonstration. The factor assisted me in learning the leadership style through various documentary of leaders who have inspired and motivated me to be an efficient leader. Secondly, the factor auditory refers to involve the transfer of data via listening. This can be related with the situation during the previous semester where I had adopted the skill of listening efficiently and effectively. When an individual actively listens, he or she is mindful about the critical thinking which reduces depression and anxiety in students (Ateia and Hamtini 2016). Lastly, the factor of Kinesthetic involves the factor of physical involvement. This factor can be related to the times the members of the group worked together in order to attain the same objective.

People with I personality: As the factor emphasize on persuading other, I usually do not support negotiating. |
People with S personality: In my professional development I would like to emphasize on the conducting work with sincerity. |
People with C personality: The skill of accuracy and quality is led by time management (Lee et al, 2018). |
Considering the factors of SMART goals, the following objectives within personal learning can be emphasized as follows:
- Firstly, the objective is to overcome the fear of presenting. Therefore, I would like to build my confidence so that I can deliver presentation efficiently. at the same time will like to practice my class presentation in advanced and collect inputs from colleagues (Roblek et al, 2018).
- The second objective is to be a better coach. This will assist me to form new contacts which will help me gain insight in my field of learning.
- The next objective is to work on my productivity where I would like to achieve my goal within next six months (Chen, Cheng and Chew 2016). Furthermore, would also commit in delegating towards task in order to free up time and focus on various other projects.
- The fourth objective that be related is the skill of managing time which I need to work on and manage two three works at a single time.
- Lastly, the factor of becoming a strategic thinker will enable me to develop the skill of big picture as well build strength.
Some of the significant skill that can be identified as transferable skills which is already developed during the session of attending module learning and they are: communication skill, leadership skill and teamworking skills.
Importance of Transferable Skills
With reference to communication skill, it can be stated that it was easy for me to learn this skill because I felt that communication forms a vital part in personal and professional life. Thus, this skill assisted me to connect as well as understand people and I feel that a successful communication will result to stronger relationships (Khan et al, 2017). Secondly, the skill of working in teams will have guided me in my academic learnings. The skills of working in teams offers the scope of working with a diverse group of people from different background and culture. From the module learning I have also gained insight about the benefits of working together which often leads to motivation and productivity towards the attainment of goals. Lastly, the leadership approach is such a skill that have assisted me to work on my achievements and efficiency of goals.
The two skills that I would like to develop during the personal and academic life are motivational skill and problem-solving skill.
I feel that motivation skills are one of the most significant skills that will enable me to bring in positive result. If this skill assists to inspire others, it forms a key element of strength and then this is he skill that they want to be made known to employers as it will lead towards growth for both personal and professional life (Boissy et al, 2016). It is often known as successful motivation caters towards significant factor tha they want to point out towards the potential employers. The individual can use this skill to enhance the chance of getting positive results while interacting with the people. Secondly, the skill that I would like to develop for both personal and professional life is problem solving skill. With the help of problem-solving skill, it will assist me to apply the same in professional life when in work in teams (Kim et al, 2018). On the other hand, considering the factors of future workplace the skill will help me to witness a good procedure of solving issues as it can enable me to use a wide range of perspective such as resilience, creativity, determination and lateral thinking.

Hence, it can be concluded that my learning phase in academic skills had led to significant factors which offers successful development as an individual as well as within the society. The skills that I have learnt have assisted me to excel in my studies as well as build competencies that helps others in their career and personally.
