The Energy Crisis and Australian Households
Discuss about the Community Management and Organization for Target Market.
Reason behind the significance of the topic and why it needs to be investigated further
This topic is interesting as because of the fact that it assists in the process of conservation of the solar energy, which is one of the major issues in these modern days of innovations and advancements. Several efforts are made by the scientist and the government systems in order to use the solar power by the households in a proper way so that it could be conserved as well for the future. There is a rapid increase in the price of power with the increase in advancements and the households are trying to use such materials that would allow them to use the same at cheaper rates as well as trying to find out solutions for using reliable source of energy.
It is to note that the target market of this product would be the household people of Australia. This is because it is becoming very difficult for these people to bear such a high expense of electricity in the market. Hence, with this product as a solution, these people would be using the source of energy such as household storage batteries and solar panels.
Due the fact that the price of electricity is raising high in the Australian region, people there are finding it tough to bear such a huge amount of expenses for their activities (Apergies and Lau 2015). Hence, it is very obvious of them to find a solution to this issue and therefore, they are searching for alternatives which would assist them to store the energy and make them use it in future as well. As an alternative, the solar panel could be kept stores in the households and could be uses at very low and affordable price as well.
As stated earlier, the price of electricity in Australia is increasing with the passage of days and the households there are trying hard to meet the expense of electricity there. They are looking for some alternatives that could allow them to store the energy for their future use and at the same time would be cheaper and reliable as well (Den Heeten et al. 2017). It is a known fact the Australian people have always proved that they adopt the scientific innovation and technology very easily and so is the sources of renewable energy as well.
Advantages of Using Solar Energy for Household Energy Conservation
In context to the advantages of using such kind of energy, there are many of it. Firstly, it could be stored easily and is always eco-friendly (Hu et al. 2016). It could be used in every Australian household. It could be saved for their future use. When the residents of the houses need to do some sort of work that needs more power and energy than their regular use of the same, they could then make of these solar panels that they would be storing in the household storages to achieve their purpose and without even paying for the same.
It is also very useful in the TOU electricity prices (Muratori and Rizzoni 2016). It comes into play in the afternoon and any other time of the day instead of working in the peak hours when the electricity consumption in the households are very low. It is when the consumption of energy is high in the households, the solar panels would be active. Along with this, the charges of demand for this solar batteries are also increasing the market of the solar batteries to large extent.
Certain amount of money is charges to all the household residents in Australia, which is based on their exact use of electricity. It is to mention that in this a way a huge price are being charged for the usage of electricity by every households, especially at the peak hours, when the consumption is even more. This makes the amount of their electricity bill indeed high (Young, Bruce and MacGill 2016). The household batteries and the solar panels in such cases could be kept by the people at their respective homes and could be used by them during peak hours and these products would help in making the electricity bill comparatively lower. There are also some nations which are adding demand charges so that people could get more motivates for using the solar batteries and the solar panels.
The self-determination theory is the motivation theory which is very important as man has to go through the feeling of fulfilment at many phases of his life (Brown and Ryan 2015). Man has his own needs, desire and demands and in order to fulfil those of his demands, he needs to get motivated as well. A person becomes motivated in several different forms and it is to note that motivation not only comes from the external factors such as money or stardom. It in fact often comes from internal factors too. One of the examples of internal factors include knowledge. Australian people were facing real challenges in meeting up their demands as they were undergoing from huge price hike in the use of electricity. Hence, this was creating a burden over them as because energy is something that none can ignore to make use of in the current era (Saddler 2015). It is important for each and every individual and is used in the operation of each and every thing. Hence, this motivated the Australian people to search for an alternative sources of energy. This helped them to think about the storage of energy for the future use and to bring down their electricity bills. However, the Australian people were well aware of this fact that they need to gain new kind of knowledge and skill for using the new form of energy and they do started to acquire the same as soon as possible.
Motivation Factors for Australian People to Adopt Solar Energy
Autonomy- The household people of Australia could achieved the skills that are necessary for making a proper and conservative use of the solar batteries and the solar panels. Notwithstanding the fact, they also need to get the skills and power in order to use it completely on their very own. Due to this reason they need to learn the steps and methods for using their skills with which they could be using the solar batteries and the solar panels and that too can store them to use in future.
Connection- The Australian people need to make use of these technology in order to get benefit from the same (Ha and Janda 2012). The solar panels and the solar batteries is providing nothing but a huge number of benefits to the country men. The price amount of electricity and the charges of electricity is really high in this regions, particularly in the commercial areas but it is also to note that there are many households that have started making use of this demand charges so that there is a sharp increase in their electricity bills and that they can motivate others to get this solar panels and the batteries at the same time.
Marketing Strategy 1- The products need to get promoted in efficient ways along with good sales. The companies need to collaborate with well-efficient advertising companies and good referrals right before launching both the products in the market. They need to keep in mind or to ensure that the products that they are planning to launch is a new production in the Australian market and therefore, they are promoted in a nice way. It would be very helpful for the company if it gets some referrals from any popular companies. One of the most famous solar panel companies in Australia is the Revolusun. The company make use of certain kind of attractive offers for its customers who are their regular customers or refer other people to buy the solar batteries and panels from it. It also has the practice of giving its customers a monetary price of 500 dollars in case if they refer any of their known person to make a purchase here. It is a very good strategy of increasing the product sales. However, it is also to mention that there are some people who doubts the fact whether they would surely be befitting from these technologies or they would waste their money in buying them (Bang et al. 2000). Some can also doubt about the trustworthiness and reliability of the products and the companies that is selling them. Hence, it is to state that promotion needs to be done in proper manner so that the buyers could not doubt about the usability of the product and their reliability.
Marketing Strategies for Promoting Solar Panels and Batteries in Australia
Marketing strategy 2- The Company needs to focus completely on its customers. It needs to keep in mind that they has manufactures the product for the betterment of the customers and to bring their electricity bill down. So, the company needs to promote its products in a way that the customers become well aware of it. They must not just start hailing that the products are creative or big. Instead they must first start describing about the benefits that they hold for the customers and why they are to be considered as their biggest asset.
Marketing strategy 3- As the growing advancement in each and everything, there is a high increase in the use of social media sites as well among the people. Near about every individual has his individual social media account to operate (Gordon et al. 2018). There are many companies who make use of this to market and promote their products. It is a very effective way to gather the focus and attention of the more number of common public towards the products.
Recommendation & Conclusion
It is to recommend that the company should give some free trails to its customers and the Australian residents so that they can make use of the solar panels and could enjoy the advantages of it for a certain time frame. This would make them feel the worthiness of the products and would motivate them to make a purchase. The company must also give some kind of demos to the common people so that they could be well aware of the process of using them.
Hence, from the above discussion it is to conclude that the idea of using solar batteries and the solar panels at the Australian households is indeed a very important aspect as because of its long list of advantages to the society and the environment. The purchase would help in lowering down the amount of electricity bills of the customers and they can also start storing the energy for their future use or during the peak hours when they need comparatively more amount of energy to invest for their purpose with the help of these solar panels and solar batters.
