The company Pashendale Holdings Ltd (PHL) is the fastest growing construction company in Australia. The company is noted for its commitment to provide the excellence in their services. The Pashendale Holdings Ltd (PHL) have the network of offices in Australia in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. The chief executive officer of the company is Virna Pashendale. The CEO of the company as Australia’s most committed business group, which aims at making beautiful places (TV Assignment Help, 2018). The company is reportedly facing the issues with their old website in the context of communication with clients, lack of updates and unattractive user interface. Thus, it can be concluded that this paper would provide the strategic project management for the PHL. This paper would provide an effective statement of work for this project.
This section of paper would discuss the strategic plans that are adopted by the PHL to enhance their marketing and provide better customer services. The company is aiming at their website redevelopment project in order to improve their customer and marketing services. The PHL have proposed the Website Redevelopment Project and the CEO of PHL approved the project (TV Assignment Help, 2018). The project is expected to start in the month of September. The PHL company is a construction based company and have expertise only for the field of construction thus the company would consider the practice of outsourcing for the implementation of this project. Outsourcing is the practice of hiring an outside company to handle specific business activities (Hamlen and Thuraisingham 2013). The PHL would require outsourcing for design, implementation, testing and training of new website. The company would require to contract with a company having adequate resources for the implementation of new website and training of the employees of PHL. The website redevelopment project would be efficient in providing a user-friendly interface to the client.
The project would be benefitting for the company as they updated website would include all the new functions and technology that the older version of the website was lacking. The new website is proposed to include the client testimonials, an affiliated network platform and relevant industrial information. The company would require outsourcing the work related to website redevelopment as the company does not have an internal IT department (Reinecke et al. 2013). The new website would be a gain for the company, as it would provide timely and instant feedback from the employee.
Project Scope
The scope of the project is planning that includes the determination and documentation of the list of definite goals, functions, features, deadlines and deliverables of the project (Fleming and Koppelman 2016). It provides the framework for the project, definition of the requirements of the project and deliverables of the project. This section of the project would provide the details of the scope of the website redevelopment project of the PHL. The company Pashendale Holdings Ltd (PHL) is aiming to enhance their website because of their market enhancing strategy. The update to the old version of the website of PHL would be efficient for providing a user-friendly interface to the clients and customers of the PHL (Ladhari and Michaud 2015). This scope of this project is the creation of a new website, which can provide extensively more content for the clients and is capable of clearing all the doubts of the clients.
Work Requirements
The new website would include the details of the development of new buildings, testimonials of clients, recent news of the company, associated network platform and different industry related information. The company wants the interface of the website to be simple for the understanding of their clients. The features of a user-friendly website are better search engine optimization, simple web design, compatibility, details information and speed of the webpage. A website having this features are likely to attract the clients and customers, and therefore the PHL has decided on the implementation of this project. The new website would provide the close involvement of the customers of their construction solutions. The company expects from the new website to provide a better customer feedback interface in order to develop the communication between the clients and the company. The project of the redevelopment of the website of the PHL will have a positive effect on the productivity of the company. It would also be helpful in generating the maximum revenue for the company. Therefore, Virna Pashendale, the chief executive officer of the PHL considers the plan of website redevelopment as a factor for enhancing the marketing strategy and customer services.
The scope of the projects outlooks some requirements of the project of website redevelopment. The attributes which are not included in the scope of the project area are generating leads from the new website and secure online payment options. The company can provide tempting offers to increase the leads and people associate with the website (Špundak 2014). The PHL could have thought of implementing secured payment gateway options for the easy payment by an employee at the time of registration and booking. The PHL could have proposed to include the effective referral options for the users of the new website. The adoption of this method by PHL could have played a more significant role if this additional scope had been included.

The project requirements are the set of tasks that need to be completed by the company in order to achieve successful completion of the proposed project. The key factors of this requirements are that is should be focused, concise and should be aligned with the resources (Hwang and Ng 2013). The Website Redevelopment Project of PHL would require the website design contractor to perform a set of specific tasks. The work requirements for the successful completion of the project proposed by PHL can be stated as follows:

The testing is done in Contractors iLab and in the limited beta release. The outcome of the testing is used to identify issues in the coding. The testing report is provided to the PHL for getting the approval from the company. The design phase is a formal phase, which requires written paper work and weekly meeting, updates for determining the progress of the project.
Implementation Phase: The phase in which plans and vision of the project are executed in reality is called the implementation phase. It involves the evaluation of a logical conclusion after applying the requirements of the project (Karim and Arif 2013). In this phase, the contractor implements the new website on the server of the Pashendale Holdings Ltd (PHL) and start providing the website services to the clients. The members of the website contractor team would provide training to the employee of PHL to be acquainted with the interface of the new website. The contractor would provide the PHL with the written report of the status of the new website.

The contractor provides the documentation of the website redevelopment project to the PHL according to the plan (Lin et al. 2015). The contractors give a project closure document to the PHL and wait for their review and approval.
