Involve families in decision-making processes
How are you doing today?
I extremely apologize for asking you to come to our centre for discussing regarding Jason. Due to intensity of the incident, it could not be discussed over the phone. Hence, you have been called for discussing personally. It has been noticed for last few days that Jason has a close obsession for other children items. Jason takes things from bags of other children and when inquired to return the items, usually denies returning it back. Do you think Jason behaves similarly when taken to other places or someone comes into the house? If that so we need to teach Jason to ask for permission before taking other people’s things and share things with other children.
During classroom hours this matter will be discussed with different children in group in a generalized fashion for simplifying the fact that permission needs to be taken during taking other people’s belongings. It would be appreciated if you discuss this matter with Jason at home or else you can suggest alternative ways to deal with this situation.
