Internal and External Stakeholders
Tele-health monitoring system is a project that will provide the users with the ability to manage their health information and condition in a remote manner. There are various technologies and equipment that will be integrated in the system for the monitoring of health data and records. The report is a project proposal diagram covering the necessary details of the system along with the information on the project schedule, stakeholders, technologies and resources along with the ethical aspect of the project.
There will be many internal and external stakeholders that will be associated with the tele-health monitoring system.
The internal stakeholders will include the resources of the project team comprising of the Project Manager, development and design team, testers, integration and network engineers along with the support staff. Project sponsor will also come under the list of the internal stakeholders (Healthit, 2012).
The external stakeholders would include the members of the medical team, patients and the end-users.
There are various problems that the patients face in terms of the visits to the health centres and the long waiting time upon reaching. There are also cases of information loss and replication that are witnessed with the use of manual systems in healthcare systems.
The tele-health monitoring system will ensure that the problems that are stated above are overcome (Majumder, Mondal and Deen, 2017).
The project is important because of the capabilities and benefits that are associated with the project. The project will streamline the activities that are carried out in association with the healthcare activities and operations.
It is necessary for the business units and organizations to make sure that they follow and adapt latest technologies in their architecture and infrastructure. The use of tele-health monitoring system will provide competitive advantage so that the reputation of the organization in the market along with the revenues that are earned by the organization is enhanced (Pawar, 2014).
There will be many benefits that will be provided by the project to the internal as well as external stakeholders.
- The tele-health monitoring system will enhance the processing and the quality of the health services that will be provided which would improve the health conditions of the patients.
- The medical team will also gain advantage as their reputation will improve in the medical fraternity (Sctt, 2011).
- The credit of the success of the system will go to the project team and resources which would lead to the improvement of their professional development and growth.
- The project sponsor will experience improved revenues and growth along with the competitive advantage to the organization.
The proposed project is based upon the health practices that are currently followed in the health care organizations. The features and qualities that will be implemented in the tele-health monitoring system are also based upon the data and information present in the legacy systems.
The existing set of operations would aid in the understanding of the requirements and specifications of the system (Mhcc, 2016).
The aim of the project is to deliver a functional tele-health monitoring system with the identified functional and non-functional requirements.
Benefits of the Project
The following objectives will be met by the project:
- Successful development and deployment of the tele-health monitoring system so that it may be used by the patients and members of the medical team.
- Maintenance and support of the tele-health monitoring system so that the operations are correctly executed (Aha, 2015).
- Completion of the activities of tele-health monitoring system within the budget and schedule that is estimated for the project.
- Project Proposal and Charter: The document will cover the details and highlights of the project with its justification and feasibility study.
- Project Plan: The specific project estimates along with the project approach and methodology will be covered in the document.
- Design of the Tele-health Monitoring System: The design will include the screen designs and the design diagrams to allow the understanding of the system details and behavior.
- Source code: The code of the tele-health monitoring system shall be delivered in the execution phase (Rcn, 2013).
- Test Plan: The plan would include the testing activities, test methodology, test cases and the process of test execution.
- Closure Report: This would cover the project acceptance and sign offs along with the set of activities that will be covered in the project.

The project technology will include the development of the front end of the project using the programming language as PHP and the back end as MySQL database. There will be use of Microsoft Project Management tool that will be done for the estimation of project schedule and timeline. Also, the project will make use of testing tools, such as, TestLink and Bugzilla.
The project will also make use of Big Data and data analytics tools for the analysis of the health details of the patients. Records management tools will also be integrated so that the information of the patients is managed correctly (Duesterhoeft, 2009).
The system development methodology will be agile methodology and the project management methodology will be Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Ethical standards and practices shall be followed in the project activities and operations. The ethical standards used in the project shall include adherence to the ethical and professional code of conduct. There must be adherence to the Intellectual Property and laws that must be complied in all of the project tasks and activities.
The information that will be associated with the tele-health monitoring system will be sensitive and critical in nature. It would be required to make sure that the information is protected and secured at all times. There must be use of preventive and detective controls that must be used along with the enhancement of the administrative checks and policiee for data securities.
There are many information and network security tools that have been developed, such as, intrusion detection tools, firewalls, proxy servers, anti-malware tools and anti-denial tools. There shall also be use of access control and authentication mechanisms.
Conclusion
Tele-health monitoring and remote management of health has become an integral aspect of the healthcare sector. There are various practices and operations that are carried out in association with the health operations and services. There are various technologies and equipment that will be integrated in the system for the monitoring of health data and records. There are various problems that the patients face in terms of the visits to the health centres and the long waiting time upon reaching. There are also cases of information loss and replication that are witnessed with the use of manual systems in healthcare systems. The tele-health monitoring system will overcome the defects and problems of the current system that is followed in the sector of healthcare. The project will make use of Big Data and data analytics tools for the analysis of the health details of the patients. Records management tools will also be integrated so that the information of the patients is managed correctly.
