The Importance of Assertiveness in Human Services
The development of assertiveness is simple and the ability to communicate on one’s thoughts and feelings addressed. In my opinion, I feel that once the source of the feeling understood, the assertiveness can be useful at many times. Therefore, while accelerating my experience assertiveness is an essential tool for the human services and engaging oneself to deal with the problems. According to Speed (2018), being assertive is a basic communication skill and assertiveness helps to express well. Thus, during my internship, being an assertive helps to boost the self-confidence and helps to earn the respect of the others. It has helped me to manage stress and taking on better evaluation. My experience was too concrete, and I recognized the value of stepping towards the assertiveness by nurturing realistic and respectful perspective.
Further, my assertiveness based on mutual respect, and it is both effective and diplomatic in the communication style. It shows that my respect was willing to stand and express my thoughts and feelings. With further reference, to improve my assertive responses, the main thing that I need to improve is to have a constant practice of saying no and use body language to keep the assertiveness transparent. Further, the model of assertiveness for purpose states the basic mind set and keep a strong value for meeting the end needs of others.
Apart from that, the barriers that stalls assertiveness states that sinking in the fear of worth and disconnecting with other people are two of my worst barriers. Due to lack of communication, emotional management skills and other obstacles mitigated for effective outcomes. Henceforth, effective communication is quite direct and respectful.
According to the ICSRLE results, the overall results of stress level and its stressor reveals the stressors. The certain amount of stress reveals that stressors might reduce and while calculating my result, I can state that the creation of stress is quite less and adverting. Apart from that, work-related stress often experiences to have a score of responses in the better adverse management. According to the total responses, Pham (2020) has proclaimed that indicating higher level of responses leads to the higher level of exposure to meet the stress. Therefore, by reviewing the items, it can be stated that an involvement of an environmental stressor is influenced by internal stressor and the amount of work executed states the unrealistic work dome in accelerating the time frame.

The focus is on utilizing the mindfulness practices and it manages the stress by balancing the workdays and taking extreme care of the mental health. The most important tip for managing the stress level is to block time for the mental rest and compartmentalize the big tasks. Rather, while enhancing the discussion, the most important activity that proves to be quite unhealthy over the long run states is to block time for the mental rest. Managing Stress during Internship

Apart from that, it accelerates that limited coping with straightforward measures has benefitted the improved organizational skills, leaning on time management, and developing greater assertiveness in the personal relationship.
In reference to the case study, Lea is the kind of a person who has friends to come over and help her. At times, in the two weeks career development, Lea points out that in the beginning the internship was interesting and with time, she has been losing hold of everything. Thus, Lea protested that her roommate has been having some problems and consequently, getting enough sleep was quite difficult. Therefore, it has been explained that getting angry and misunderstanding her thoughts has been quite difficult.
Further, with greater discussion, it is important in having personal boundaries and when its not clear regarding the limits, it is necessary in addressing the issues and create a greater self-esteem. According to Donovan (2018), the case of Lea was getting out of hand and thus, the people who doesn’t have respect have to have a concrete adjustment of the situation. Therefore, setting up of boundaries and ensuring the relationship can be mutually respectful tends to be appropriate and caring. It is quite essential in having personal boundaries and identifying the limits in relationships happens to be the first step in maintaining the healthy boundaries. The second is to stick to the boundaries and to plan if someone tends to cross the limits. For instance, taking into consideration of Lea, establishing the healthy boundaries and to have practicing assertiveness counselling can tend to help. Personal Boundaries are quite important because they tend to set the basic guidelines of how to be treated. Therefore, while stating the way makes the accessibility of action more progressing.
The skills that are required to develop positive working relationship requires trust, self-respect, awareness and elevating open communication. In addressing the reflection of my supervisor, in the beginning I was a little nervous and it helped to have the issues and situations get mitigated immediately. Thus, while accelerating the progress, it is necessary to have a relevance in developing my computer skills. One of the messages that I received from my supervisor states the positive evaluation of my access and it helped in clarifying great deeds.
On the other hand, to improve my supervisor’s performance, getting to the buy-in of supervisors and give priority to “active supervision”. Apart from that, appointing the team leaders enhance to develop a performance dashboard. Lastly, developing a daily scorecard for supervisors tends to implement team meetings.
Through the entire specific internship, the three most events that has been addressed states the professional communication, taking criticism during intervention, and networking for analyzing leadership confidence as well as responsibility. In each of the events during the internship, I have accelerated the growth and it has helped me to have a better outlook in the long run.
The skills that I have learnt while accelerating my internship states the communication practice and collaboration with time management and critical thinking. Apart from that, my thoughts have changed and during the internship, my research and analysis skills has been improved to a great extent.
