As per my understanding a leader should have convincing characteristic, team building characteristic, setting example characteristic, Highly Effective Communication skill, solution finder, can delegate the work smoothly, care for the team and passionate about the job are the few qualities which are required to successfully lead the project and all such qualities and skills are shown throughout the report (Jones, 2014). In this report the proper leadership skills like setting examples, proper sharing of work load by rotating the job so that all can understand the other’s requirement and constraints, tie the team together with common aim and objective for getting better results and very good team building capabilities has proved that the leadership qualities has been shown in the assignment too.
An ICT project manager needs to have scheduling, proper allocation of resources, proper risk management, proper budgeting, and managing team properly, handle change management smartly and manage issues well are the few techniques and skill required to properly lead the IT projects (Westland, 2013). So a project manager for IT related projects must have the experience of providing best result under tremendous pressure from multiple stakeholders and at any cost fulfill all stakeholders’ requirement, being the people related project meeting stakeholder’s needs and expectations and adhere all comments in the system should be the aim of the project.
