The Vanuatu government should also have looked into the matters that deal with the installation of electricity within every household of the island thereby leading to the better living conditions of the islanders who have been settled in the archipelago (Nimbtik 2017). The government of Vanuatu should also have looked into the matters that deal with the facilities of education and other basic amenities that are made available to the residents of the island nation.
The Australian government might also have helped in the improvement of the conditions that are existent within the country. These measures might have included the intervention of the Australian government in the internal matters of Vanuatu in order to curb down the increasing corruption among the various members of the governing bodies of the island nation. This might have also curbed the money laundering that had been taking place in the country (Rose-Ackerman and Palifka 2016). The Australian government could also have put a stop to the aids that it had been extending to Vanuatu in order to create a pressure on the government to keep a check on the corruption that has been going on in the country.

The government of Vanuatu might encourage the residents of the country to create as well as maintain the locally situated governmental bodies. The government might also provide encouragement to the local residents to get involved in the numerous developments in the indigenous businesses which might help them in the development of the economy of the country as well as the personal upliftment of the concerned individual. The residents of the nation might also be encouraged to take part in the multitude of self-reliant activities. This might also help in bringing about a clarity within the economic factors of the country and thus help in the matters that pertain to the money laundering that has been taking place in Vanuatu.
