Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
Professor of theoretical physics he studied in berlin where he published a paper on the general theory of relativity. He moved to America in 1933. Where he continued his study on the quantum theory. Although he wasn’t exactly responsible for the atomic bomb the equation he came up with known as E=mc2 helped the discovery of the atomic bomb. This later would help end the 2nd World War.

Aquisgranum Germany later changed to Aachen Germany.
It was a coronation site in the middle ages for reformation of the churches. Aachen is the home of the Aachen Cathedral. Aachen gained its power when Charlemagne became ruler. The city of Aachen also contains the remains of Charlemagne.
Augsburg, The peace of Augsburg .
The peace of Augsburg, German states were now free to choose between Catholicism and Lutheranism. This allowed people to follow the beliefs of Lutheranism in German states. Martin Luther fought for this to be allowed for many years.
He believed that the catholic church was corrupt. The peace of Augsburg was the result of his and many other humanists’ efforts.
Churchill, Winston (1874-1965)
Winston Churchill was a prime minister. He served two terms as a prime minister. He was also a soldier he joined the royal Calvery in 1895. He rallied people of Britain together. This later caused him to lead Britain to victory as prime minister during his second term.
Cairo, Egypt (30.04991 N, 31.2486 E)
Cairo Egypt was established in 969 A.D. This was the headquarters of the Muslims.
But they were later defeated in the 12th century. The location of Cairo is important because it is close to the Ancient Pyramids. The Arab League was found in Cairo in 1945.

The Camera is a significant object to the worlds history. The first photograph was taken in 1827. The camera since then has been used to shoot movies in Holly Woods greatest’s films. The camera has played a role in many wars allowing army’s to get visuals on enemy’s. Now today there are cameras everywhere on every street corner.
Darwin, Charles(1809-1882)
Charles Darwin was a scientist. He is famous for his work on the theory of evolution. He believed in natural selection. His theory of evolution was later known as Darwinism. Today Darwin’s legacy continues.

Damascus is the capital of Syria. It is a religious city also containing Jewish, Muslim, and Christianity all in one of the past centuries. Some say Damascus has been a city since the 4th Millennium BC. Alexzander the great conquered Damascus. This is also where Paul Or Saul then converted.
Dummies
The Dummy was invented to test safety of vehicles at first. In The 1950’s scientist used dummies to study car safety. With dummies company’s like Ford came up with airbags in vehicles. This later passed a law making it mandatory that cars and trucks have airbags in the front seats. Today crash dummies are used in many things such as roller coaster rides, airplanes, bullet proof vest, and etc.
Edison, Thomas (1847-1931)
Thomas Edison is a famous inventor and business man. He is best known for his invention the light bulb. While Thomas Edison wasn’t the first to come up with the idea of the light bulb he did make it commercial in 1880. In 1896 Thomas Edison was the first person to project a motion picture.
El Paso, Texas
El Paso Texas was established in 1859. The city of El Paso was once Mexico’s, but Texas gained control of it. The city of El Paso was important to the confederate state of Texas during the civil war in order to take control of the state New Mexico. With the new arrival of the rail road company the towns population grew. The rail road is really responsible for the town to be put on the map.
Equestrian
Equestrians are people who ride horses or use horses for a purpose. Equestrians date back to ancient times it is not clear when it first started. Equestrian’s rode horses in wars for Olympic games and as a way of transportation. Today’s Equestrians consist of people riding horses for fun and for sport. It could be a fun and enjoying hobby for many people today.
Ford, Henry (1863-1947)
Henry Ford was a very successful business man. He founded the Ford Motor Company in 1903. He established the assembly line allowing Fords automobiles to become famous. Henry’s contributes to the automobile helped many people spread all over America and later the world. The assembly line helped the industrial part of America. Mr. Ford also established the fivedollar work day this created more jobs.

Florence Italy was established in 59 BC. Florence was the capital of the Romain Empire. Florence was ran by wealthy families between 10-14th century. During 1348 Florence suffered from the black death. Florence was then later ran by Cosimo de’ Medici in 1434 until his death he wanted to increase trade in the city state and he wanted the population to increase.
Freedom of Speech
The freedom of speech is the first amendment this reserves a American citizens right to speak freely about their ideas. The freedom of speech is one of the most important amendments. It shows the leaders and advisers of this great nation the voice of the people what the people of America want. The freedom of speech has censorship to some things meaning that you cannot say just anything you want. Many threats towards our nation leaders have been made by mouth and have been punished according to their acts. The freedom of speech might not be completely free, but it gives America a voice.
Galileo, Galilei (1564-1642)
Galileo was a famous philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer. He made great contributions to science. He helped come up with the scientific method the same method we use today. He also had a great discovery of the high-powered telescope. The telescope Galileo came up with helped him see the moons surface and conclude it wasn’t a smooth surface.
Georgetown University (38.90 N, -77.07E )
Georgetown University was founded by John Carroll in 1789. In the civil war the school served as a hospital. Georgetown became a university who allowed military training programs in World War II. Georgetown started accepting women into the college in 1969. Georgetown is now one the leading university’s in the United States.
Gas Station
Gas stations are vital to our way of life everyday millions of people visit a gas station to fuel their ride home. The first gas stations were invented around the early 1900’s. They were hand pumped machines later in the 1930’s electronic pumps were invented this really made gas stations what they are today. Although back then someone pumped your gas for you. Soon oil and gas companies realized that was a waste of time and money so now you pump your own gas and still pay them for it.
Lee, Robert E (1807-1870)
Robert E Lee is a famous solder and leader. Before the civil war Robert was in the cavalry for the U. S army. When he realized the civil war was about to happen he opposed this war. When he was asked to pick a side he choose the confederate side. He is accounted for winning many battles in Virgina and keeping the north away from the south as much as possible. Robert E Lee later surrendered to the union forces for they were out numbered and to many men were dying.
Louisville, Kentucky (38.25 N, -85.76E)
The city of Louville was established in 1779. In the early 1800’s the city was known as a river trading port. Louisville also served as a gate way to freedom for slaves seeking freedom. The city was later a leader in the production of bourbon whiskey and cigarettes. The Kentucky derby is held here every year at church hill downs.
Light bulb
In the later part of the 1800’s the light bulb was an idea that had a lasting impact on the world. Before Thomas Edison there were a few versions of the light bulb but none of these ideas of the light bulb were actually cost efficient. Thomas Edison made a patent for the light bulb after he found out how to make the light bulb last for more than 1,000 hours. Fast forward to today were we have led lights and energy efficient lights that have lifetime warranty on them. There’s lights in everything today from TV to your flash light.
Madison, James (1751-1836)
James Madison was he 4th President of the United states. He is probably best known for writing some of the US Constitution. Madson drafted the Embargo act while serving under Thomas Jefferson so it would keep the U.S out of a war.In1808James Madison became the 4th President of the United States. Madison was the first President to declare war on another country.
Madrid, Spain (40.42 N, -3.70 E)
The first people to discover Madrid was the roman’s in A.D times. The city of Madrid didn’t become popular until the early 1500’s. In 1561 it became the Spanish capital. The Dos De Mayo rebellion against French forces was a very historical battle. The Spanish civil war left its mark on the city of Madrid by reducing the population.
Matches
Matches are used to start fires or to heat something. The first match was invented by Samuel Jones in 1827. Later the match was improved to not smell so bad and not have hazard materials in it. In 1892 Joshua Pusey created the first ever match box. Today matches are not used as much but they are a whole lot more environment safe.
Walt, Disney (1901-1966)
Walt Disney most importantly founded Disneyland in 1955. His success was based off his work with cartoons and his ability to develop cartoon films. In 1928 Walt made Mickey mouse come to life as a cartoon. Ever since Mickey mouse has been a hit for children. Walt also made many Disney movies allowing for a pretty good pay out where he wrote the plans for Disney world to be built in Orlando Florida.

Washinton D.C is the capital of the United States. It is the home of the White house, the U.S congress building and many other government buildings. After World War I the pentagon was built. Many riots and protest took place during the 1960’s causing many people to leave Washinton. Today Washington D.C is a flourishing city.
Washing machine
Washing machine were not always just press a nob and wait thirty minutes. First people washed their clothes in rivers and streams. Then came the wash boards most families had them in America by the early 1800’s. Then in 1858 the first washing machine was invented by a man named Hamilton Smith. In 1908 the Hurley Machine company built the first electronic washing machine. Now today almost every house hold in America depends on a washing machine to clean there clothes for them in a matter of thirty minutes
