Different Types of Robots and Their Functions
Question:
Discuss about the Information and Communication Uses of Robot.
The Artificial Intelligence Company in Brisbane has been a well-known company in Australia and has been giving its servitude to the people of Australia for many years. The organization mainly focuses on the usages of robots in different purposes in order to reduce the human effort in different part of the working field. It can be explained in this way that the main motto of the company is to build robots to do those works where the life of human becomes risky. There target is to spread the business from Australia to continent like Asia. This must be done in order to increase the expansion of the business in the biggest way. This project is mainly about the robots and their uses in different fields. There are different types of robots available in the markets which have different functions depending on the situations.
Robots are actually machines those are designed to execute one or more than one task automatically with maximum speed and efficiency. It is the responsibilities of the controller and the developer to make the robots efficient to work in different fields. The developer must use the source codes correctly in order to build a perfect robot and the controller must use the robots in the exact fields in order to increase efficiency and avoid complication (Gündo?mu?, 2014). Robots can serve the best if it is used in a perfect way.
There are different types of robots in the working fields. It can be assumed that the working fields actually differentiate the kinds of the robots. The human resembling robots are known as Androids. However it is obvious that every robot is not built on the human models. The industrial robots are mainly built in order to perform repetitive tasks like construction. A robot can actually be controlled from near or from a great distance. The control must be done accordingly and by professionals only.
Telechir
It is a complex robot that can be operated through remotes by humans. This type of robots is mainly used in telepresence system. This robot help individual to sense on being in a particular remote location, dangerous or alien environment. It also provides the accessibility to interact with each other in difficult situations. There are many more things that this robot can do. This type of robot can be very effective in case of childcare, health care, remote business consultation etc.
Autonomous Robot
This type of robot is basically controlled by the computer itself. It means human interactions are very less in case of controlling the robots. It can be said that the humans just have to set the programs and they must be aware of the tasks. After getting all necessary information about the tasks and all, the computer starts to operate the robot. The most advanced example of this type of robot is the smart robot. It was built by artificial intelligence system and it has the ability to learn from the environment (Spector, 2006). It means this type of robot knows how to survive in different environments.
Telechir: An Effective Tool for Different Fields
Swarm Robots
This type of robot is very small and can work together. It looks like the system colony that is similar to the insects. They can be sophisticated while working together in a particular group. They mainly work in fleets which has a range from a few to thousand.
The company has made a plan to increase the span of the business and have decided to expand the servitude from Australia to different countries of Asia (“Emerging infectious diseases in coastal countries: examples from different countries on different situations”, 2014). There are many platforms of the business where they might have to make use of the robot and the company might need to teach the employees and the management department to make full and effective uses of the robots. There are several of platforms of the business where the robotics technology can be used. It is the responsibilities of the company to make others understand about the importance of the robots (Dawson, Dupuis, & Wilson, 2014). That is the way; the company will be able to increase the business effectively.
- Robots can be used in order to decrease the labor cost in the most effective way. It is to say that there various stages of the business where labor cost affects the business and increase the productivity cost (Bottazzi, & Grazzi, 2013). Robots may help the scenario by doing everything accordingly and it is obvious that the outcomes of the business will be more accurate if the robots take the responsibilities of daily work.
- Keeping all the business information can be done efficiently by the robots (Hulme, 2009). It means the robots have more efficiency than humans and it is obvious. So the information of all the imports and exports, the financial calculation will be made more accurately if robots take all the charges from humans (Weygandt, 2009).
- ICT manager of the company is the responsible for the communication and technological part of the business. A business always needs effective communication system in order to make the outcomes more effective in the business field. Robots can be used effectively to maintain the communication system inside the organization.
These are all several fields of business where the uses of robots can be made effectively. Australian Artificial Intelligence Company must be aware of these situations and they must make others understand about the crucial facts of using robots (Thomas, 2005).
Every organization has a motto to be effective in the marketing field and they must be remained within the flow of the business. So it can be elaborated in this way that the company must be aware of every single situation and they must be effective in order to make a proper run in the business. The conflicts and the problems must be solved in the most efficient way and it will make the scenario of the business perfect. The short term goals and the long term goals are directly or indirectly connected with the use of robots in the business. The process and the techniques those are used by the robots can be very crucial from the business point of view.
Short term
There various goals of the business depending on the objectives of the business. The short term goals are mainly connected with the daily performance of the employees, leaders and the managers of the company. So it can be said if the robots take over the employees in few cases then the short term goals will become easier to achieve. In the field of short term goals there are very few platforms where the robots can be effective. The field of communication and technologies are always considered to be effective if robots are used (????, & ?????, 2010). It doesn’t matter whether the goal is short term or long term, communication and technological system of the business always prefer to have robots in the field. Moreover there are few places in short term objectives where the robots can be handy in terms of achieving the objectives. They can take the places of the workers and the employees of the company to achieve the business goals more effectively.
Autonomous Robots: Controlled by Computer
Long term
The long term business goals are the most crucial aspects of the business where management department or the authority of the company may have to decide strictly where to use the robots. They must go through every single aspect of the business keeping the cost of productivity in their minds. Long term business goals require efficiency in the field of work. Robots can be used in the business field and they must be used sincerely in order to make the work easy in the field. Long term goals have always played decisive roles for different businesses (Zhu, & Zhang, 2016). The management department and the authority of the business must keep one thing in mind that the strategies and the plans must be set very carefully as every single aspect of the business; profit, loss, reputation of the business etc. are depending on the long term goals. Using of robots in this case can be crucial and if the strategy goes right then the business will gain a huge profit and if it goes wrong then it would be a difficult situation for the business. Robots can build a strong communication system, they can be efficient employees, and they can keep all the information of the business. If the robots are handled carefully, if all the required set is made properly then one can say that the use of robots in the field of long term goals can be very effective and it will bring success in the field of business (Bargiela-Chiappini, 2009).
It has been seen that the use of robots in different parts of the business can be proven to be very effective. Robots are actually controlled by humans and the efficiency must also be there while using the robots in the fields otherwise the whole thing can go wrong. That is where the disadvantage of using the robots comes into play. The advantages and the disadvantages of robots are as follows,
There are several advantages of using the robots in the field of business. The advantages are as follows,
- Robots never get tired and that is why they can be used where human enthusiasm ends. It means there can be any kind of situation where humans lose their hopes to continue their work in the field but robots will never get tired of doing anything. They will perform depending on the controller.
- Robots give actual calculation in every aspect of the business. It means the robots can provide better and correct calculations which help the business in every single possible ways. The financial part of the business gets more benefit than any other parts as far as the calculations are concerned. All data and information are kept accordingly which help the business to be in track.
- The communication system that is controlled by the robots can also be very effective if the controller use the robots in the most efficient way. They will remind everything time to time and they will make proper communications among different departments of the organization. Technologies will become more advanced than it was and the company will be able to put positive impacts in the business field (Kitchen, 2013).
In spite of having many advantages, robots have several disadvantages that can be threatening from the business point of view. The disadvantages are as follows,
- If the control of the robots goes wrong then whole scenario of the business may face troubles in different ways. It depends on the controllers’ efficiency that how they are using the robots. Inefficiency can harm the reputation and the work process of the business in a very effective way (Kien Sia, & Siong Neo, 2008).
- If any changes are there to make in the organizational environment an employee is far better and easy to make understand about the changes than a robot. A robot has to be re-programmed and all the previous data must be deleted from the robots memory. It is a hectic situation that can increase the complication of the business operation.
- There are many places where emotions of the workers are involved in the business. Robot will not get to understand that emotion. They will continue their work without any rest as per the instructions. It can bring a problematic situation for the company and their employees (Bals, & Jahns, 2008). It is not possible to remove all the employees from the organization as well as it is not possible to build relationship among the robots and the employees.
- It is obvious that the robots are for the betterment of the company and the companies are accepting the robots worldwide. It is making human being materialistic and they have started to find it difficult to survive in other places where there are no robots. In other words robots are making people lazy.
After going through the advantages and disadvantages of robots, one can say that the disadvantages can be removed but nothing can be more advantageous than a robot’s performance. It is recommended to take care of the disadvantages in order to make the robots more efficient in the field of business.
Conclusion
After going through every single part of the project it is clear that the use of robots is very effective in the field of business. The robots must be used according to the terms and conditions and if efficiency is there to control the robots perfectly then robots may become the future of human race. Australian Artificial Intelligence Company must use the robots in every single aspect of the business field. They must be efficient to handle the robots, it will make the robots favorable for every single business owner and if the company wants to capture the markets of Asia by the servitude of artificial intelligence then they must make them understand about the advantages of using the robots.
