Ethical Issues
Discuss about the Information Ethics and Management for Data Confidentiality and Accuracy.
The revolution in the information and technology helps in increasing the functionality and services of the business processes. The flow of information between the different units of the organization increases the risks of loss of data confidentiality, accuracy, and reliability due to the unethical accessing of information from different sources and medium. The unauthorised accessing of the information without the permission of the user helps in increasing the risks of data modification and manipulation. It results into improper functioning of the data and business units (Horton, 2018). The ethical behaviour should be adopted by the employees and the participating units so that they can achieve the goal of the organization. The loss of data occurred due to the occurrence of fraud and scam can be minimised. The ethical approach helps in reducing the confidentiality of the data by guiding and educating people to follow ethical behaviour at work place. The following of the ethical principles and guidelines in the workplace helps in increasing the profit of the organization by managing consistency in the accurate data flow and information in the business processes. The recent research had been conducted on the loss of data through the social media platform. It had been found that the private information of the user loss from their accounts which can be used for illegal purposes. The ethical training should be arranged for the employees to foster strong team management among them so that the productivity of the organization can be improved (Jakobs, 2016). The inclusion of ethics in the working culture of the enterprise helps in improving the business tactics of the organization so that no loss of information takes place from the ICT infrastructure of the enterprise. It has been seen that the companies are looking forward to adopt the ICT technological service model to improve their business processes which increases the risks of data loss from the cloud network because data can be fetched by the participating units. It is required to follow the ethical behaviour in retrieving information from the cloud network. The unauthorised accessing of the information, manipulation and modification of the information, data piracy, and others are some of the unethical behaviour which are followed in the Adoption of IT infrastructure at work place. The new revolution, policies, and framework should be developed for educating the employees and associated members at work place about the ethical behaviour.

The use of ethical principles helps in increasing the feeling of punctuality, hard work, moral value, and others among the working employees (Stark, 2012). The productivity of the organization increases by reducing the loss of data confidentiality and integrity from the different sources such as finance, human resource, inventory, and other. The follow up of the ethics and moral values help in limiting the data piracy and cyber stalking.
The ethical issues which are associated with the adoption of IT infrastructure in the working culture of the enterprise increases the threats of data loss. The special provision should be laid down to minimise the effect of ethical issues on the profit earned by the enterprise. The inclusion of IT practice connects the organization with the global world which increases the risks of unauthorised accessing of data and information from different sources (Tran, 2015). The data leakages can takes place where the security procedures are not strong. Some of the ethical issues which are associated with the fussiness functions, processes, and data available on the network of the enterprise are listed below:
Security Issues: The unauthorised accessing of the information without the permission of the user is an unethical activity which is against the laws of ethics. It can affect the confidentiality and integrity of the information (Vranceanu, 2011).
Privacy issues: The information uploaded on the network is not kept private. It can be accessed by the users effectively. The security procedures help in keeping the information private by allowing the authorised user to access the private information of the user.
Copyright issues: The downloading of the information, music, and video albums comes under the category of copyright issues because the data is copied without the permission of the user. The free downloading of the software is the major issue of copyright because the user uses the software without paying a penny for using it for their application and data processing.
Pressure on the IT developer: The increasing rate of unethical activities from the field of ICT environment increases the extra pressure on the IT developer and programmer to build effective security procedures which helps in reducing the risks associated with the data loss from the business premises due to the unauthorised accessing of the information.
Digital Divide: The Condition of digital divide opens new opportunities for the hackers to hack the information from the different sources and data leakages.
Data piracy: The information uploaded on the network increases the chance of data piracy activity. It results in the degradation of company’s turnover and profit due to the freely available pirated information in the market. The user makes use of pirated information which directly affects the profit of the organization. For example, piracy of music audios and videos result in the loss of money and income of the music company.
