1 TERM PAPER SUBJECT
Choose any topic of your choice related to the article “A Century of US Central Banking: Goals,
Frameworks, Accountability” by Ben Bernanke. Your topic can come from literally anywhere (the
textbook or any reasonable media outlet, e.g., WSJ, The Economist, Bloomberg). Write a paper of
no less than 2500 words about the topic you choose. But keep these in mind.
• Do not have too broad of topic.
• Smaller topics are easier to get at the analysis. For example, understanding the great recession
is too big.
Note: Plagiarism is strongly prohibited for the term paper. In order to be free from this issue, you
MUST CITE ANY SOURCES that are used in your term paper.
2 GRADING POLICY
