PROJECT PROPOSAL
Security is a vital factor in any organization. We need to secure our organization from the attackers, if we are not able to do this then they can access all the information about that organization. So, we need to keep our organization securely.
This Project is about when a person is logging into his laptop/work computer, they use a password to login into the system. So, they are possibilities to hack even that password. If attackers get that password, then they can access our information. For this situation, we can implement some alternatives which can secure our organization better from the attackers. The best alternative is logging into the system by their heart rate. This system is constructed using the heart rate of a person as a validation system. Even though it may not have any advantage by using fingerprint on paper, it must be suited to high-security situations. There is great benefit from this process, they don’t need any fingerprint sensor or entering an SMS code. In this, our heart rate will be detected in the background and which is totally invisible to us. The heartbeat of an individual person is different from others and will be unique. This process is not only calculated by their number of beats per minute, but it is also calculated by other metrics also like the size of the heart, it’s exact form, the position of the valves. The whole thing which influences the intensity and type of beat that you can collect as ana electrical signal.
There is great advantage in tracking the electrical movement of the heart and this is more unique than a fingerprint. So, when a person wants to log in to the system then they can wearable tracking hardware which uses a small amount of energy for detection when compared to other kinds of biometric data.
Researchers at Birmingham State University have been running trials using fitness-tracker-recorded heart rhythms and have found this to be an effective way to authenticate someone. In fact, they believe it could be one of the best-suited systems for unlocking personal medical data, especially in the future when we send much more information to our doctors on a regular basis using fitness trackers. So, there re some problems as well highlights how stress, exercise, or health problems can have a dramatic effect on a user’s heart rate. Because of this, heartbeat data shouldn’t be used as a catchall authentication system, but could provide a very accurate, low-energy, secondary authentication factor that would be very hard to fool.
