I am currently a Logistics Technician for a local College Army ROTC program. My daily duties involve many different things, but the foundation to what I do is heavily involved with any and just about all supplies required for unit readiness. Most of my events or stories I might have to relate involve the equipment I issue out to my Cadre and Cadets. Knowing what each item is used for based on prior experience allows me to increase the fluidity of training at the battalion level through the power of sharing my knowledge with my Cadre and Cadets. For example, I have a Cadet who is currently in her graduating year in the program and will be commissioning this May. She is an aspiring Logistics Officer for the Army and throughout her time here I have been able to teach her just about everything about every piece of equipment she will encounter along with the massive varieties of paperwork that comes along with being in the field of Logistics. Having good narrative skills allows the narrator to be a better leader by presenting clear and concise information in a way that keeps the audience engaged and on track with what you are conveying. These skills are extremely important, especially for those positions that require extremely well performed practical application.
