You had used the remote control device to turn the power on. Fortunately, you were out of the line of fire, and no one else was there in the room. You unplugged the television as soon as you got over the initial shock. Write a complaint letter demanding your money back or a better TV in exchange. Refer to Chapter 3 of your book.
