Homebuilding Executive means a Vice President, Director, President, Regional President, CEO, COO, CFO, for any Homebuilding company that sells and builds at least 25 homes per year.
Additionally, you will need to include information about the company he or she works for. What markets are they in, what is their market niche, what are their competitive strengths, who is their customer, how many homes do they sell and build annually, are they a public or private company, how are they structured, how many employees, how long have they been in business, what are their future projections for their business, etc…
This project is an opportunity for you to meet, interview, and learn about and from a person who 10-25 years ago was most likely in the same place you are today – a student trying to figure out what he or she wanted to do for a career and how to get there.
Please remember you will be meeting a highly compensated and busy person. Be sure to dress appropriately (interview attire), be prepared, clearly communicate what you need and how long it will take when you set up the meeting, meet he or she at their office on their time, be punctual, friendly and confident. You never know what might come from spending 30 minutes with a successful Homebuilding Executive.
