Step One: Please read and review each draft carefully, then offer six, specific comments about the draft. Keep in mind that comments like “I really like this point” are all but useless. Try to be specific about what’s working or what confuses you. Comments like, “I don’t quite understand what you mean when you write ____________ ,” or “what other examples can you consider that connect to _______,” or “this sources doesn’t connect to the point you made earlier in the paragraph,” can guide a writer’s revision. If you are confused by a sentence, let the writer know. You may your the in-text commenting, download the file and then upload a copy with your comment, or the Add a Comment box along the right side of the Canvas window.
