Please open the spreadsheet below and navigate to the “Intro” sheet. You will see that cells that are blue require your input. You will need to first input your name then your ID#. Review all of the instructions and notice the grading rubric at the bottom.
- In step 1, you determine your annual gross income using the chart provided.
- In step 2, you establish your spending categories. Remember, this is your money, so if donations to the Home for Retired Professors is a priority, be sure to include it.
- In step 3, you move to the “Monthly Budget” sheet and build a monthly budget. Your categories from the intro sheet should automatically populate the required cells.
- In step 4, you move to the “Revised Monthly Budget” sheet and revised your budget based on the forced change in the chart that you’ll see.
