This semester you will be asked to keep a weekly reading journal to record your personal reflections on the primary sources we read together. Each journal entry should be half a page; all entries must be edited. Work will be graded on the quality of writing and the level of reflection evidenced in each entry. The purpose of keeping the reading journal is to provide you with dedicated time and space to reflect on the generic qualities, rhetorical strategies, language, meaning, and significance of individual Chan sources.
For long readings, you can just browse it and focus on one chapter. For the reading RJ6 7 8, you need to choose three titles from the catalog and write three reading journals for that reading. Total 8 reading journals.
It is due on December 3rd Monday midnight New York time.
