Task: The four-source essay asks you to synthesize the arguments of four sources.

Format: APA
Sources: Four sources, all of which you will find through UMUC library searches, based on the same topic you have been approved to work on at the start of the course for all four assignments. You will be conducting searches in the library databases and determining four sources to use in this essay.
Please use only four sources. Please do not incorporate more than four sources
into this essay.
Articles to Use for the Essay
For this essay, you will select four articles based on the course topic you have been approved to work on ****topic: IMPACT OF TECHONOLOGY ON HEALTHCARE RECORDS and PATIENT SAFETY.
The articles should be on this same topic but feature different perspectives, opinions, or conclusions about some aspects of the topic.
For example, if your topic is about the impact of mobile devices on cybersecurity, you would need to locate four articles from the UMUC Library databases on this topic. The four articles might take different angles on the topic, perhaps even disagreeing in some respects. The articles might disagree on certain points, possibly disagreeing on how to best protect corporate information on mobile devices, how to mitigate against a breach in security if it does happen before more serious damage happens, or understanding what to do when a breach occurs.
To use another example, if you are working on a topic that concerns the role of media and television’s impact on criminal justice, you might locate four articles about the CSI Effect.
The articles should take different perspectives on the topic. Perhaps one or two of them say that media coverage and television programs depiction of forensic science has resulted in escalations of wrongful convictions and a greater tolerance of official misconduct. And perhaps two more sources agree that that issue exists, but they take slightly different approaches in addressing the problem.
